Draft for attorney review — not yet final
Acceptable Use Policy
Genuine AI exists to help you sound like yourself — not to help anyone deceive. These are the uses we prohibit and how we enforce them.
Effective date: August 21, 2026 · Version 2026-08-21.1
1. Scope
This policy applies to all use of the service and is part of the Terms of Service. Violations can result in content removal, suspension, or termination.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the service to:
- Evade required AI disclosure. Do not use generated output to circumvent a legal, regulatory, institutional, academic, or contractual obligation to disclose that content is AI-generated or AI-assisted — including obligations under the EU AI Act, academic-integrity policies, and publisher or platform rules.
- Impersonate without authorization. Do not build a voice profile from another person's writing, or present output as written by a real person, without that person's authorization.
- Commit academic dishonesty. Do not submit generated output as your own work where doing so violates the rules of your institution.
- Infringe rights. Do not upload content you have no right to use, or generate content that infringes copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
- Produce unlawful or harmful content — including defamation, fraud, harassment, spam, malware distribution, or content that exploits minors.
- Abuse the platform. Do not probe, overload, scrape at scale, resell access, or attempt to extract our models or other customers' data.
3. Disclosure obligations are yours
Whether and how you must disclose AI assistance depends on where and how you publish. You are responsible for knowing and meeting those obligations. We design the product to keep your voice consistent — not to make AI writing undetectable, and we make no such claim.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action proportionate to the violation, from a warning to termination. Where the law requires or permits, we may report illegal activity to authorities. We provide notice and an opportunity to respond where practicable.
5. Reporting
Report suspected violations to hello@auradev.ai.
