Terms of Service

By creating an account, checking the consent box at sign-up, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Genuine AI [VERIFY LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND REGISTRATION — counsel item L11].

You must be at least [16] years old to use the service [AGE THRESHOLD FOR COUNSEL CONFIRMATION]. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes it.

Genuine AI analyzes writing samples you provide and generates draft text intended to reflect your writing style. Generated output is a draft: you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether and where to publish it. We do not guarantee any particular quality, accuracy, or fitness of generated text.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly at hello@auradev.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically — monthly or annually depending on the billing period you select — until you cancel. Before you complete a purchase, we display the price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method, and require your affirmative consent.

You can cancel at any time online from your account settings — no phone call, chat session, or email is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We will send a reminder before any annual renewal [RENEWAL REMINDER TIMING FOR COUNSEL: state auto-renewal laws vary; California requires reminders for terms of 12 months or longer].

The Professional plan includes a 14-day free trial. If a payment method was provided, billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. We state the trial length, the post-trial price, and the cancellation method before you start the trial, and send a reminder before the first charge.

Our 14-day money-back guarantee and EU/UK withdrawal-right terms are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.

You retain all rights to the writing samples you upload and the prompts you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide the service to you — building your voice profile and generating drafts you request. We do not use Your Content to train models for other customers.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content. Do not upload material you have no right to use.

As between you and us, you own the drafts generated for you, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for how you use generated output, including compliance with disclosure obligations that apply to AI-generated or AI-assisted content in your jurisdiction, industry, or institution.

Use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, using the service to evade legally or institutionally required disclosure that content is AI-generated, to impersonate a real person without authorization, or to produce unlawful content.

The service — including software, models, design, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you no rights in it except the limited right to use the service as described here.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT GENERATED TEXT WILL BE ACCURATE, ORIGINAL, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they do not, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 17) survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW STATE/COUNTRY — COUNSEL TO SELECT], excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
